Record Numbers walk for WRH on Isle of Wight

17th of October, 2013Autumn Walk a huge success. The Isle of Wight Autumn Westie Walk held at Appley Beach, Ryde was a huge success, breaking all records. In excess of 70 westies walked to raise funds for Westie Rehoming on a glorious day. The charity stall was busy selling westie memorabilia, and the information stand was kept busy talking to interested members of the public about what we do, and how to adopt a westie.

Organisers Sharon and Dionne were absolutely delighted with the turnout and the generosity of the islanders. What a wonderful atmosphere! They are planning another event for next Spring on the island, to be held at Ryde which is an easy 10 minute trip across the Solent by hovercraft.
