Happy Birthday to two rather special girls
Flo and Eilidh are 8 years old today. They were born to a pair of westies that were found with their deceased owner and were so traumatised after being alone with her body for 3 days. We took them in to foster at home for the charity, not knowing at first that the girl was around 2 weeks pregnant at just 12 months old, little more than a puppy herself, and a brother/sister mating at that.
The rest is history as they say, and there is quite a story of why the girls stayed with us as their permanent home. They’ve had their problems (genetic) and we came so very close to losing Eilidh 4 years ago but she has bounced back with a vengeance. So, so glad that they stayed with us and that we’re celebrating 8 years with them today.

However, we all need a bit of cheering up at the moment and so we’ve decided to give all the dogs a birthday party later. They had a super birthday cake from local small business Black Dog Bakery – photos to follow!
